the book. But lookie here:

I read about this on
Cute Overload, immediately hopped over to Erika's blog and read the story ... blown me away! And I thought I should share this with you. If you click on the picture, you'll be able to read it too. You can even get the pattern if you want to!

That is a really cute story. I know some trees that need sweaters...
Now, what a truly cute story - thanks for sharing the link with us!
What a heartwarming story! Thanks for bringing it to Knitbloglandia! So do I have to knit cotton sweaters for palm trees? :)
That's so cute! And I can't believe I haven't seen the M-D book yet ... I need to remedy that. I've seen those washcloths all over the place now. And thanks for the comment re: the afghans ... FYI, the second afghan book is better than the first, in my opinion. :)
That's so cute and funny! At one point I wanted to be the courthouse bootie lady, I envisioned that every pregnant woman I saw I'd give a pair of booties too, I'd just keep a stock in my drawer. Then I discovered I really didn't like knitting booties. Although I have a new bootie pattern I want to try, maybe it's not to late.
